As the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread and evolve, the health and safety of our patients, staff and community remain a top priority for us. In accordance with directives from the state government and from our professional society, we have severely reduced our clinical hours; however, Ophthalmic Specialists of Michigan remains open for those patients with urgent medical needs as well as emergencies. It is important that we continue to treat those of you that have an eye emergency so that we can continue to preserve and restore your vision.
For all non-urgent office visits and surgeries, we will contact you to reschedule to ensure we reduce the risk of transmission and minimize the spread of this disease. This will remain in effect until we receive guidance which allows expanded services and a return to more normal activities.
If you have any questions or feel you have an emergency, please call our office at 1-800-237-EYES (3937) during normal business hours of Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. We have staff working to take your calls and assist you with your needs.
