Important COVID-19 Update

As we continue to monitor the evolving situation of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of our patients, staff and community remain a top priority for us.  Local and national health agencies have strongly recommended the cancelation of all non-urgent office visits and surgeries to reduce the risk of transmission and minimize the spread of this disease as well as to conserve needed medical supplies for hospitals. 

As physicians and healthcare providers we must respond and do what we can to support our community.  Our offices do remain open, however, only for those patients with urgent medical needs and we will reschedule all other appointments and surgeries.  Please note: We will call patients whose appointments are being rescheduled for a later date. This will be effective beginning March 20, 2020, and we will continue to monitor and re-evaluate weekly. 

What does this mean?

If you have an eye emergency and urgent symptoms, you may call our office at 1-800-237-3937 during normal business hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.  These patients will be seen on a case-by case basis.  Our phones will be managed, and we will continue to triage those calls.

COVID-19 Screening

Patients will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 prior to their visit.  This includes fever, cough and shortness of breath as well as travel to a high-risk area in the last 14 days.  If a patient or household member has any of these symptoms, they should contact their primary care doctor or go to the emergency room.
